Liverpool need strikers like Kane or Lukaku
In this season, Liverpool have a new problem on the front lines. The Reds are considered need a prolific striker like Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku.
Liverpool’s back line problem seems unresolved, has appeared again new problems in the front line that had been so the mainstay of the club. This season new Liverpool make 13 goals from seven matches or average less than two goals per game.
After a 4-0 win over Arsenal last August, Liverpool have scored five goals in five matches so far. Naturally, if their line of attack began to be highlighted sharply.
Because Liverpool throughout the last five games are able to release more than 100 attempts, although only a few meet the target. Though the Red have a productive front players like Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho, or Sadio Mane.
Liverpool was then criticized hard for not trying to bring in a productive frontman and able to make at least 20 goals a season like Lukaku at Manchester United or Kane at Tottenhan Hotspur.
Liverpool have Daniel Sturridge but the England striker has been struggling with injuries over the past three years and has lost his goal-scoring instinct. Whereas in the 2013/2014 season, Sturridge could form a death duet with Luis Suarez.
“Their performance is okay, but not great,” said former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp, told Omnisport.
“With all the weaknesses that the team has, we all know they’re going to get into trouble now, for example, they did not survive so well, that’s why he wants to buy a £ 60 million center-back.”
“Unfortunately when you do not get the player then it will make the others feel disappointed, they endure very badly.”
“And they do not have a really productive striker Daniel Sturridge does not look as expected.”
“You need players like Lukaku or Kane, who will score 25 goals a season, they do not have a player like that at the moment,” lid Redknapp.
